Orange because it is orange not because it is a vases for oranges. At first I wasn’t going to offer this vase because it is based on a vase made by other potters and created to demonstrate to my students how pots are often comprised of other simple shapes: a cone, a sphere, a cylinder. But one day I put some daisies in it and thought, “now that is about the cheeriest thing I’ve seen in a long while.” and decided “who am I to say someone else wouldn’t also enjoy it?”
