2024. I am a maker and teacher who decided to formalize (or is it upend?) her pottery practice by pursuing a BFA in ceramics with the aim of exploring the range of firing processes and materials to eventually take ownership the process start to finish and maybe one day identify the set of practices that suits her best. It turns out I enjoy all the techniques and methods (except Raku)! I name this body of work “Seeker” because everything I made in 2024 seemed to ask, “why like this and not that?”
